The Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award, often called SCHADS, covers a broad care and support workforce working outside hospitals and residential aged care. It applies to home care workers who support older people and people with disability in their own homes, disability support workers, social and community services staff, crisis accommodation workers, and family day care educators.
